I can't see what's going on there - very frustrating .... oh well
oops sorry DP that you can not see the image as it is . you have to turn your inner eye on and look into the image .... there is a book decorated in autumn leaves then an outer casing of images on acetate depicting nature ... the outer casing is like a global protection of nature .. as in us humans try to protect but nature does it on her own!....
yes, the photograph is not good, but I can still get the feeling from it, and it feels good, it's inviting, I want to come closer to it, grabs attention, I want to know more about this, I have to see it, I want to touch it, I like the colors
I think its great. I can not see much about it, but by the feeling I get from what I can see, I think this is a great, strong, vibrant, piece. You might want to put up some do not touch signs, unless you want it touched.
Hi Shea & thanks... yes i wanted the piece to have that 3D imagery feel... you see the inner piece but surrounding are subtle pictures of nature (most taken by me). I want the viewers to see different things when they look at it from different angles ... It won't be able to be touched (although to touch it would be great .. I doubt it would survive 6 weeks of touching though!!) as my work is going to be displayed in a glass cabinet

It is good that this work will behind glass, otherwise it would be ruined by peoples fingers, fingertips, and hands. I can't make it out in the photo, and yet, on a computer, my first inclination is to try and come closer and touch it.
Different things to see at different angles, I love that. Please, do, post a good photo of this piece and you in the exhibit. This art work is special.
