That statue of Churchill was made by Sir Ivor Robert-Jones who was my head of department at Goldsmiths'. He was making it during my time which meant I only ever saw him twice in 3 years ....... thank heavens - a complete prat, firmly up his own bottom. [not only my opinion, his obituaries were quite luke warm at best and scathing at worst]

not a complimentary sculpture of Churchill ... he looks like the Hunch back of Notre Dam!!
Maybe Sir R-J was yet another troubled artists... there have been many !!!
